Chapter 19 PART 2

Today in class I compared the Man in Yellow to a snake because I feel that he slithers up to people and sneaks around trying to get close to people.

-What else could you compare him to?  It could be an animal, another person, a person from another book or movie...below please compare him to something else and explain why they are alike.

In this chapter Winnie seems at first to be having a good time.  She's eating flapjacks (does anyone know what those are??) and some bacon when suddenly she states "I want to go home."
-What happened?  Why do you think Winnie all of a sudden wanted to leave so badly?  (hint: read the top half of p. 57 again)

Chapter 10 Question

The Tuck family is really growing on me.  The more I read about them the more I like them and even feel bad for them.

Why don't they have any friends?
