Chapter 16 Question

Why does the constable seem so unhappy?  Shouldn't he be happy to catch some criminals?

  2. i thought he was unhappy because the man in the yellow suit wasnt talking to him very much and wasnt giving him alot of details about the tucks

  4. To add on to Kiana's idea the constable seems like he want's to start a conversation. Also he probably has to interogate the tucks and sign tedious court documents.

  5. I think he's not happy, because he woke up early in the morning and went all around the village to find Winnie, and I don't think he is excited to hear the man in the yellow suit seen the girl, and I wouldn't like to wake up early and spend all of my time looking for someone.

  6. I agree with everyone but I think he didn't really trust the man in the yellow suit and I also think he was so big that his horse couldn't hold him and would take forever to make it there

  8. Now this brings up another question: Why does the constable have such a slow horse? Think of all the disadvantages it would provide

  9. I agree with Eeck. He needs a new horse, one that would be able to keep up with people who break the law and try to ride away quickly. Great point Eeck!
