she saved the dog because she cared about him so much but i don't think it was a wise decion because she is hearting the frog (like the tucks got hurt) and now she might not even drink it
she did that to the toad because if that same thing happen again when Winnie isn't there, the toad could get badly hurt, or even worse die,and Winnie doesn't like the idea of dying, so that's why she saved the toad.I think that's not a great idea, because she just took the toad out of the life circle.
I think Winnie saved the toad from the dog using the water because she knew that she'd be too tempted to drink it before 17, if she even does drink it, she'll think too much about it. This was a wise choice because this way she will have time to CALMLY think over everything the Tuck's have said. Also, this will give her time to choose life or death.
