Chapter 22 Question

Rate Miles' plan to get Mae out of jail from a 1-5.  A 5 is PERFECT and a 1 is BAD PLAN.  Give a score and explain your number.

  1. I would go with a 4.5, because it sounds like a GREATLY MADE plan, and it sounds like it would WORK. Are you thinking to yourself, "Then why not just rate it a 5 instead of 4.5?" Notice in those sentences I said the plan SOUNDS greatly made and like it would work. What if there's a loophole? Like in all those TV shows. Something can *always* go wrong. But I do not know what it will be.

  2. I giv a 2 because what happens when Winnie gets caught? There was a law about helping criminals, or as the constable says it being in "kahoots with the criminals" . Winnie might get sent to JUVIE and dishonor her family. Also if Miles and Jesse are trying to take out the bars and Winnie is a second Mae who will distract the constable? Tuck, no thats waaaaaaaaaay to obvious. The toad? Is making that disturbing sound with it's throat get the constable out of his comfy brand new shiny awsome jail house?

  3. I'm thinking the plan is a 3. I can't say it's near perfect, because like Max says there are a lot of things that could go wrong with the plan. For instance, not only are the Tucks risking their secret, but they are also endangering Winnie's future, and if their secret is exposed, the Tucks will be nothing but a lab experiment for eternity. But then again, if all goes well, the plan will be the best way out of the big tangled mess

  4. I would give 2.5, because it's not that bad or that great plan. Maybe Winnie has some other plan for the constable not to find her that she isn't Mae, and maybe Winnie could get out from the jail when the constable went for a break or he just fall asleep.
