In this chapter Winnie seems at first to be having a good time. She's eating flapjacks (does anyone know what those are??) and some bacon when suddenly she states "I want to go home."
-What happened? Why do you think Winnie all of a sudden wanted to leave so badly? (hint: read the top half of p. 57 again)
I think Winnie all-of-a-sudden wants to leave because of that one moment of silence when she felt her elation, then her thoughtless pleasure collapsed.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Max, and she probably already missed her parents, and relatives. I would feel the same as Winnie if I were her.
ReplyDeleteFlapjacks are probably pancakes.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Max too! but I thought winnie hates her own house.........(~_~)even though tuck's house is REALLY messy.
ReplyDeletealso steven was right! (^_^)//'''''''''''
ReplyDeleteflapjack is "pancake"
she probaly doesnt like the tucks house even though she also hates her own
ReplyDeleteThe akward moment of silence allowed her to come to her senses and realize she was kidnapped, and that the Tucks were technically criminals!!
ReplyDeleteDidn't she feel that the moment she was kidnapped too ?
ReplyDeleteThough I do agree with you
