I think the man in the yellow suit is very old and drank from the everlasting spring too. I think he is Mae Tuck's son because he came to Winnie's house saying he was looking for some one. this is the quote that made me think that, "He was remarkably tall and narrow, this stragnger standing there. his long chin faded off into a thin, apologetic beard,..." and this quote also, "... with lang thin fingers. his tall body moved continuously; a foot tapped, a shoulder twitched. and it moved in angles, rather jerkily."
i agree with bugsy but i slaso think mabey he knows something about the spring or he is trying to find it THIS IS NOT A GIVE AWAY but i think that the spring=etarnal life and he is trying to find it
first i thought that he was nice, and very good, one of the nice characters. but now i finished the book and i loathe him soooo much becuase of what he wanted to do. he is selfish and dumb in my opinion.
Even though I finished the book, my first impression was that the stranger was a suspious man looked for the Tucks and the spring. the quote was:"She frowned and looked at the man more closely....and "Is this your house?" he seems very suspious because he's asking personal questions to someone he doesn't know.
